Database of the Month – JSTOR

JSTOR is a nont-for-profit archiving service for published scholarship and the Dulaney-Browne Library subscribes to five of its collections. The Ecology and Botany Collection, the Business Collection, Arts Sciences I (Business, Economics, Education, History, Language, Literature, Political Science), Arts and Sciences II (Business, Economics, History, Political Science), and Arts & Sciences III (Language, Literature, Music), which is about half of the full JSTOR catalog of 1400 titles. JSTOR articles are widely retrievable through internet searches, especially using Google Scholar, but access to the full text that the library subscribes to is limited to computers on campus or those logged in through the library’s proxy server links to JSTOR.
